For this project we had to go to the ROM's Pompeii exhibit and make an exhbit poster. I made a pencil crayon recreation of a human remain sculpture from the Pompeii exhibit.

Step One - Thumbnails
My thumbnails for this project are not only sketches but also photographs.
Step Two - Colour Pallet
To mix colours and see how they work with the paper i made a colour pallet with abunch of different colours.
Step Three - Practice/MockUp
Next i tried to re create one of the images with pencil crayon on pastel paper
Step Four - Final Good Copy
During the process of my rough i realized i didn't like the colour of the pastel paper i was using. I switched from a light brown to a yellow/beige. The light yellow/beige colour was a lot more successful to get the colours i wanted. For the final copy i had to put the rom logo and the tittle POMPEII.
