This was a self-initiated project, and the motive was to design an experimental book on behalf of myself. The decided title was “A CLOSED CURVE”, which was to present the image of my mind. To present that idea, I created some irregular curves on the first layer of the jacket. And then I applied a special material - acrylic to emphasize the concept of “CLOSED.” I cut the transparent material into a double rounded curve shape and pasted it on the second layer. So, we can see the curves, which were isolated by the acrylic, on the first layer through the ‘hole’ but we can’t actually touch them. Besides, I cut the paper jacket into an irregular shape as well, so it turned into another closed curve.
