Real Time Data from Office Sensors for Website

Playing on the theme of YAAY’s data-oriented approach, we created a real-time dashboard to visualize data from our studio environment, such as CO2, noise and weather conditions as well as relevant public transport information. This was enhanced with a set of specifically designed, reactive icons to illustrate different states.

A further technical crux was to develop a web structure which would give the best user experience for any device. We designed a grid system which is flexible and can be used with any type of content without losing its essential purpose. Configuring the physical infrastructure necessary to record and collate real-time data, and update the website, was also an interesting technological challenge.
