As the year progressed to the final stages of the, students from Universities around South Africa made their voices heard as they shut down all campuses for no fee increments amongst many other problems. Initiated by Wits University stuenents, #Feesmustfall has been trending worldwide for a week followed by #Feeshavefallen after SA president Jacob Zuma announced on th 23rd of October that there will be a 0% fee increase

 

With my portfolio fast approaching at the time, I had no access to computer lab facilities and no internet to do my work. Took the opportunity to go take some photos that I eventually used for a photography project I had to redo. Talk about using your time more efficiently... 

 

In the photos are students singing, dancing, burning tires, blocking the main entrance road and blocking staff, student and taxi vehicles from exiting the premises for some reason.
