This was a collaborative project between myself and Nate Talitha, of Talitha Leather in Portland, Oregon. When I purchased my Canon T1i a couple years ago, it came with an enormous nylon bag that did not suit my functional or aesthetic needs.
I found Nate's work on Etsy and asked if he would be interested in sewing a leather bag specifically for my camera, Moleskin notebook, and an extra lens. The result of our collaboration was an easily accessible, compact, square field bag that I carried across nine countries the following year. It is untreated and turned a rich reddish brown from weathering in tropical sun and Oregon rains.
