COMG: (Interrupting) That’s right! Captain OREO Man Guy!
SFX: TRUMPET FANFARE
COMG: Now Steve, are you really going to give up all those long hours toiling away at the gym and weeks of choking down quinoa and kale for just one package of delicious OREO cookies?
STEVE: Well…
COMG: (Interrupting again) While I wouldn’t blame you, there is no need my friend! Not with OREO Reduced Fat cookies. Go ahead, give them a try.
SFX: CRUNCHING
STEVE: Mmmm! No way are these reduced fat!
COMG: (Manly Laughing) Oh but they are Steve! Oh but they are.

These radio ads were created for my ad writing class in the spring of 2015. The client was Oreo Reduced Fat Cookies.
The first ad is a 10 second teaser for the second ad, which is a full 60 seconds. I wanted to take a comical approach on the ads that could be appropriate for both children and adults. I had the idea of an over-the-top, cheesy 1950s-style superhero named Captain Oreo Man Guy, and I just went from there. I think these ads are very entertaining, and would easily catch the attention of listeners.
