A traveler's sake
A traveler's sake
Project prompt was to design an exhibition, packaging, and branding for a food or drink product based on a country.
I have chosen sake for the country of Japan.
The exhibition space is a booth at a fictional convention at the Moscone Center, San Francisco. The size given was 20'x10'x12' and the exhibition model is at 1/20th scale.
The sake is based on the concept of Japanese travels of the Edo era. Three different types of the product was required and each sake is represented by a classical Japanese traveler based on their characteristics and cultural context.
Taru sake: Ronin (Warrior)Nigori sake: Miko (Shinto Priestess)Genshu sake: Osho (Buddhist Monk)
Along with exhibition model and products, packaging box, point of purchase sign, and shopping bag were designed and created.
