Also, during the first week we had another assignment called Drawing for Designers. We had to watch two short videos one on warmups and the other on gesture drawing and blind contouring. We had to draw up three gesture drawings and two blind contours. 

Here I did a gesture drawing on this bear tea kettle. I sketched out the circles of the body then started going in with the details. 

Next, I drew a chewbacca cup. I drew out a lot of squares first. Then went in and rounded them out and added in the details. This was my favorite one to draw.

This is a gesture drawing of a kitchen owl figurine. I had a little trouble with getting the proportions correct on this one. 

Here is the blind contour of my hand. This is actually the second one because my first one I didn't go into much detail on my hand and I wanted to show that.

Here is my last contour of a foot. I wanted to do mine but I couldn't see all the details of it and still be able to draw them. So, I borrowed one from a friend.
