Circuit Panic [Mobile Game]

THE GAME
Circuit Panic is a skill game where users swipe 3 bird siblings around to help them avoid getting shocked while sitting on powerlines. The game interacion is super simplistic and highly addictive.

I started designing the game back in 2011 as an idea for TOjam until I was approached by a Vinyl Games Studio in 2012 and they brought me on to the team to bring this game to life.

The overall art style of the game was somewhat simplistic, and the idea was to focus on the gameplay and player, rather than fill the smaller screens with too much visual distractions.

The three birds started as crows, but after a few design changes they evolved into these 3 cute pidgeon brothers as testers felt crows were a bit too aggressive. They all have personalities (though this doesn't affect game play). They will alway be crows for me.
The game has 7 leves which increase in difficulty as you advance. I directed the overall design and art style of the game, as well as helped with the development myself. This is level called "CITY" is one of the Levels I designed first.

UI/UX
I designed the UI around a single options menu where there are 4 sub-menus, each having different options and sub-menus.
Birds can be customized by choosing different hats, which can be purchased separately but also earned during gameplay.

MARKETING MATERIAL
Since Vinyl Games is an independent studio, I designed our ad campaign around social media and participation in small events.
Leveraging our followers as much as possible while maximizing our reach without big spenditures.
Facebook Banner specific to mother's day.

TRAILER AND ANIMATIONS
I directed the development of both the teaser trailer and launch trailer as well as animated and created the story for it.
