I chose to keep the Ipod device.  For me, the Ipod represents a way to escape the pressures and craziness that goes on in the world daily by listening to music and scaping to my own created reality.

 

I chose to use the hearaldry design of the eage with its wings open. To me, the wings being open represent many things: surrenderance, vulnerability and strenght to name a few. I chose to use the black stripes to represent the constant bondage that people or countries are in daily. I used the spirial symbol to show that an any given time, events can spiral out of control to the point of devastation.

 

I chose bold and vibrant colors to that the designs could command respect off of apperance alone. I also thought about how it would look if the shield was ever actually printed.  It would stand out and be forced to be notticed.
