I originally set out to design this overlay using the Jade Rabbit Insignia (emblem) as the influnence, but I settled for the gun instead to mess around with the rusted look on the gun's creases.

Here's a close-up of the radar frame (vector, Adobe Illustrator). In hindsight I made it way too big - I'll revisit it later so it doesn't take up too much real estate, but it was fun messing around with the look.
