Brief: Alzheimers NZ needed an infographic to helpfully communicate not only the results from their benchmark survey conducted in early 2014, but also important basic facts about dementia which are unknown to many people. The survey results show the impact of dementia in NZ, and our attitude and awareness of dementia as a country.
The infographic primarily needed to be printable on A4, but I also created a version optimised for online viewing.
Process: I visually broke up the two areas of information, giving prominence to the impact of dementia in NZ. I used our national icon, the kiwi, tieing this in visually with the brain to encourage NZ citizens to understand the potential of this disease having an impact on their lives in some way.
