This was part of my Graduation project done at Bandhej.  Bandhej believes in reinventing age-old traditional crafts and breathing new life into them. The aim of this was to highlight and showcase the material Tussar  which is an indigenous wild silk. This part of the collection looks at yardages specially engineered for garments. Engineering the yardage required great amount of detailing and precision during the design process. It involved cobining skills of pattern making, silhouettes and handloom.
