This was part of my Graduation project done at Bandhej. Bandhej believes in reinventing age-old traditional crafts and breathing new life into them. The aim of this was to highlight and showcase the material Tussar which is an indigenous wild silk. This part of the collection looks at Saris. The main objective was to retain the traditional motif and present it with the same grounded sensibility with a contemporary spin.These saris also showcase the natural rich texture of Tussar.
