This project was done as part of my graduation project at Bandhej. Bandhej is a brand finding new design directions in age-old indigenous crafts and giving them a contemporary makeover. This collection aimed at showcasing tussar a variety of wild silk. This part of the collection dealt with stoles and gave a lot of room for experimentation. Maintaining a bold yet minimal design language and keeping it vibrant was one of the main challenges faced. These were all produced in Andhra Pradesh and have used small amounts of cotton to add detail.
