An affinity for clothing from the age of three, Alexander McQueen's legendary work was inspired by the juxtaposition of lightness and darkness, fragility and strength that were apparent in his own family. Redesigning an ikea chair inspired by the childhood motivations of the legendary Alexander McQueen, the chair transformed into a combination of strong yet delicate black lace, hollow from the inside yet structured.
