David v1.8

David v1.8 is an exploration into the self, particularly myself, as a product. The only parameters for the project were the subject matter (the self) as well as the format; in this case it was European paper sizes [A5, A4, etc...] I created a product manual for others to read about me, David v1.8. I used a typewriter due to its imperfect nature, and engineering paper for its scientific and logical appearance.
This project is in contrast to a lot of my other work simply because the harder I worked for it to be perfect, the more imperfections came (stamp marks, typewriter mistakes, and running out of paper). It was an uncomfortable experience: designing it, executing it, and especially turning it in. Maybe that was the purpose of the project?
