A first year university concept for Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The brief was to design a sheltered space that could be used to get out of the rain, to sit down for a minute and to reflect on or talk about the sculptures and picturesque surroundings. VistaDome accomodates all the brief requirements as well as being able to be fully immersed into its art surroundings. It possess' additional features that expand on the brief. For example, when the design is used for shelter from the rain, the rain is incorporated as a design feature and creates an interesting aesthetic, from an otherwise negative occurence.
