Invisible Cities is an editorial and illustration (school) brief. The class was given an excerpt of Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities and was asked interpret his stories into a visual narrative. I was given stories about 5 fictional cities called Valdrada, Zemrude, Moriana, Baucis and Phylllis. The outcome of my visual narrative were illustrations made by the foam printing technique, using styrofoam and block printing ink. The B5 book was designed and handmade using the saddle-stitch bind.
