The guidelines for this project were these:

Create a series of square shaped compositions using any combination of solid basic shapes of different sizes using all/most of the principles of design. You may use the following solid, basic shapes in each square shaped composition: circles, rectangles, triangles, lines (any line weight) and a [cross/plus +]. (No outlined shapes please.) Shapes must be solid and either black or white (no gray). You may have shapes be cut-off by the edge of the composition and you may change the orientation or size of different shapes.
