Winner of over 40 film festival awards, Boy and the World is a visionary film. Entirely wordless, the narrative describes a clash between the rich and poor, countryside and city, indigenous and imperial, handcrafted and mechanized – and throughout the tumult, the heart and soul of the people beats on as a song. Accompanying the stunning visuals is a rich soundscape of pan-flute, samba, and Brazilian hip-hop, creating the powerful visceral experience of a passage through life.

 

Our mission here was to create an iconic and energetic image that encapsulates “the World” of the film and hints at a sense of journey, celebration, and adventure. We were incredibly lucky to work with such beautiful imagery - the work almost designed itself.
