For What It's Worth
Gold
The Witwatersrand Basin is a vast geological formation in South Africa that holds the world’s largest known gold reserves. Since its discovery in 1886, seven separate gold fields have been established along its length. Using CGI, I’ve represented the total amount of gold extracted from each of these gold fields.

Central Rand Gold Field - 250 million troy ounces.
West Rand Gold Field- 102 million troy ounces.
East Rand Gold Field- 319 million troy ounces.
Far West Rand Gold Field - 349 million troy ounces.
Klerksdorp Gold Field- 209 million troy ounces.
Free State Gold Field- 335 million troy ounces.
Evander Gold Field - 49 million troy ounces.

Using CGI I've created a scale model of the total amount of gold extracted from each of the seven goldfields of the Witwatersrand Basin.
