I decided to revisit this a year later and re-work some areas of the poster after refining some of my own skills. Above is the final version of the poster. The hand lettering has been redone and the type on the bottom has been re-worked and placed in a more effective way. The background image of the smoke was also edited because in previous versions it was a bit pixelated. 

This was a project for my tyopgraphy class where we had to make a lyric poster using some hand lettering techniques. These images show the process from sketching, to comps, to the final comp.
