Made from brushed sheet aluminium and bent plywood, Table for Two manifests all that is behind the connection of two people. Working together in a playful uncertainty, the interactive design toys with ideas surrounding balance, support and sharing. Designed not for it’s ergonomic ability, Table for Two explores an unexpected take on meal time etiquette, forcing both parties to seat and leave the table simultaneously. Whilst encouraging peer exchange at meals, it inclines exuberant social interaction and emphasises the importance of collaboration and communication between two people.
