Why There is High Tide During a Full Moon was a project for my Book Design Class. I handmade and bound the book which quickly became one of my favorite projects.
Why There is High Tide During a Full Moon is based off a folktale from SouthEast Asia. It is a love story about Luna (the moon princess) and Mar (the sea prince) who meet and fall in love. But their love is forbidden and they are both locked away forever. This gave the explanation as to why, when the moon is closest to the earth, there is high tide, because Luna and Mar are trying to reunite.
