"Make the newer generation aware of global warming"

For my final mayor project I choose a project that would make the newer generation aware of global warming,
I eventually created a picture book for children between the ages of 5 to 8.
I did a lot of research on how much text should be in the book,
after that I sketches a lot of character and eventually choose a head character that would grab the readers attention.
I gave her as much features as possible that would link with the subject.
The main colours where chosen to be blue and orange,
these are complementary colours and make the character really stand out.
There is a secondary character in the book called Ducky, he is a rubber duck and tells his own small story.
He appears on every page of the book and gives tips on how children can help as well with ‘saving’ the world.
This way children can get involved with the book to.
On the end pages you will find an explanation about what ducky does,
and tells in easy words what is causing global warming.
Also within the book you can find the name of the app,
this app makes it possible for children to listen to the story or to ducky’s tips.
This way a younger child who can’t read yet can still listen to the story whenever they want.
