Anywhere Records is an independent record label, owned and run by The Crookes, from Sheffield, England. The label will, of course,
be based in the steel city itself, but will reach a global audience, having secured worldwide distribution.
The name Anywhere was chosen in order to get a sense of unboundedness and universality. As a band they travel all over, playing gigs and meeting people, and it’s a huge part of their lives. Their ethos is a little bit like “Wherever I lay my hat, that's my home”.

Anywhere Records' identity was created based on references from logos of remarkable record labels like Decca and Capitol Records,
and had a bit of inspiration from a worldwide famous brand of pop culture: Budweiser - using a cursiva font in order to give it an urban look
with a little bit of an underground atmosphere, thinking about something that could easily be related to the music industry, just exactly
as the visual identity of a record label should look like.
I chose to go for a simple look, working only with black and white, making it stand out just with its symbol and typography.

In the UK you can find the swallow birds, free travellers that migrate when the seasons change. The symbolism of the bird is to represent the feeling of being transported all around the world with the music, without bounds. The stars around the bird represents the sky and it’s infinity, with the wings representing the power of transporting the label to any place - pretty much what the name Anywhere stands for.
