I started this project after my grandmother’s passing in 2015. As I found new pictures of her youth, the idea of reimagining them along with some of my mother’s old photos came to my mind. This helped me come to terms with my loss and also understand my family roots. Her photos were so compelling that I instantly connected and decided to become a part of them.
