"Court Métrange" is a festival dedicated to strange and fantastic short-films, based on Rennes (France).

For my HND professional project, I chose to redesign the identity of this event by developing its logo, visual identity and especially by recreating the website in order to develop at best the universe put in place during the showings of the festival.

Through this logo, the concepts of frenzy and schizophrenia are deliberately highlighted. But what is especially developed is the idea of twins, of doubles with different behavior, of uncontrollable alter ego.

These principles of disturbing and disturbed vision, messy and full of (fake) bugs, are operated in order to turn the viewer as mad as curious and intrigued.

The essence of this project was to show that the festival allows viewers to dive into a mysterious and bizarre universe, that will surely surprise and disturb them. The tone that I use is off the wall, besides that is what shines through the use of the website which offers unexpected behaviors : the blocks go in opposite directions, the hover effects triggers gifs or make others disappear...
