SHAMIRA & THE ORPHANS
Shamira, an autumnal dragon whose plumage changes colour with the seasons, lives in a time of war in Illumina. Humans are overtaking the world, uprooting families and entire communities in the process. Lives are lost, and so orphans are extremely common. Having lost her own children to the war, Shamira sets up an orphanage to care for young displaced by fighting.

Having lost her own children to the war, Shamira sets up an orphanage to care for young displaced by fighting.
As a broken mother, absent of her own children, Shamira feels and suffers from constant regret, agony and emptiness, and tries to take back what she last lost by taking care of the young. All her positive energy goes into running her orphanage and caring for her babies - her new children - while she sadly pines for her lost brood.
Shamira's once trusting, open, light, loving and carefree personality has been jaded and corrupted by her life experiences, leaving her with a tired, drained aura. If she detects any threat to her adopted children, she becomes fierce, protectively and positively savage.
