Wado Ryu Basic Techniques.
Karate has developed over many hundreds of years in various styles and forms.
The aim was to produce a document that could be interpreted by anyone - in conjunction with hard training - to achieve an understanding of basic techniques.
With ‘Wado Ryu Basic Techniques’ the reader can break the techniques down into small sections explained in the text of each technique. There are also small improvements that can be implemented throughout a karateka’s development that apply to overall technique.

The book is housed inside a birch plywood slip case with miter joints holding the box together to appear like one seamless piece of wood.
This is to connote the cliché of the karateka striking through wooden planks as well as appearing sleek and modern, yet still holding the characteristics of karate.
