60s were a golden era for soviet cinema, with Cannes festival prises coming every year. Khruschev's "Thaw" relaxed censorship and ideological pressure on art. It ended in one day; production of a lot of movies that could have become masterpieces, including ones by Tarkovsky, Hutziev, Parajanov, Konchalovsky, were shut down and never filmed. 

 "Life of planets" is a tribute to them, a theatrical performance and a music record produced by Oleg Nesterov.
