ALBIA

(Branding, Editorial)

Albia is an office building built by Emblem Capital and situated in the Santa María corridor in Monterrey, Mexico.
The building is a display of great design by one of México’s most iconic, renowned and prestigious architects, Agustín Landa Vértiz †. With 5,400 square meters and 150 offices distributed over 19 floors, Albia looks to attract a public that understands that a modern office should function not only as an efficient work space, but as an extension of the personality, philosophy and nature of the businesses and projects it contains.

Our concept and our basis for the development of the brand’s visual language is the sum of this philosophy, the façade and the building’s raw materials. The logotype, a symbol for the 7 iconic pillars that visually define and physically support the building, was designed with simplicity, elegance and efficiency in mind. These same pillars are the conceptual overarching element behind Albia’s brand story: 7 pillars = 7 brand values: Location, Design, Atmosphere, Distribution, Functionality, Amenities, and Efficiency. The color palette and paper selection are based on the building’s textures and materials, especially its ample use of concrete and the different tones it takes through the passage of time.
