An illustrative book cover created as an entry for the Penguin book cover competition.

It was required to create a contemporary cover that attracts both parents and children. The imagery explores the content and feel of the book so the buyer can “judge the book by its cover”. Exploring the combination of hand generated type with the willow theme gave an interesting play on words.
