This prototype explores the concept of affordable student housing in Vancouver. Tasked with creating student dormitories for two in less than 50 square metres, I proposed a system of kinetic millwork boxes, that allow students to separate the apartment into bedrooms at night, while using the same spaces for other tasks during the day. In this way, I was able to achieve a series of dormitories for two in just 36 square metres.
