BBSRC Core Values Visualisation

Part of my work with Studio 108 included working with their high profile client BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.) We were asked to brand and visualise their core values for internal use and roll out. This meant creating designs that could be created as products for their employees and create a display for their offices in Swindon.

The core values were listed as follows:
Professionalism: We are committed to delivering excellence.
Respect: We act with integrity and treat everyone with dignity and fairness.
Collaboration: We foster effective working relationshops and value everyone's contribution.
People: We nurture and develop our talent within a flexible and supportive environment.
Transparency: We embrace an open and honest approach.

BBSRC wanted a design that was "innovative that hits with impact, of which would be reflective of the way we work."
As people were the main theme and audience to the core values I wanted to introduce figures into the design. It was inportant to make them gender, race and ethically neutral to be inclusive across all their employees.
The core values were all interlinked and therefore I visualised that by creating a core values loop and puzzle like pieces inspired by biological science.
My final ideas for the pitch were presented to BBSRC for discussion and development.
