Design Museum Rebrand (ISTD)
The Design Museum rebrand was one of the ISTD briefs available for the 2015 student assessment scheme. This re-brand was based on the concept of using the 4 corners of the museum (architecture, fashion, graphics and industrial design) within the logo, creating a box shape. This was then developed into having a break in the box using typography, used to illustrate the 'out of the box' thinking on display throughout the museum. This simple yet effective design not only allowed the new brand to successfully be used in other areas of the museum such as way finding systems, but also a universal symbol which could be used for promotion and merchandise.
