My collection was inspired by contortionistic movements and the exaggeration in their stretch. We were given a print at random to work with that was donated by Nicole Miller.  I made a woven fabric act as it shouldn't (Just as a contortionist bends) and had it perform as a knit with fabric manipulation. Nicole Miller herself said in person that she loved my dress! The gown was featured in the RISD Apparel Design fashion show and modeled by Maia Conlon.
