Pemba my little cute Valentine at 16,000+ feet height. 

Pemba - three & half years old cute girl, she is still in my mind and heart, which I don't think so I can forget her any day. I was in Ladakh leading winter photography workshop with Darter and my plan was to take a long vacation with Changpa families in Changthang region after my trip is over. Lots of struggle with local authorities to grant me inner-line permit, finally I got it with lots of warnings.

Due to heavy snowfall and other restrictions. I could not spend time as I wanted to, but whatever time I could spent was really worth.

Staying around nomads tent at 16000+ feet was feel like you are in deadly winterly heaven with 40-50 km wind speed and -45 degree celsius temperature drop at night was really not a pleasant experience. But Pemba made everything comfortable for me with her child's play. I really had no idea from where she was getting energy to run around entire day around tent, playing with pashmina goat cubs, hiding herself behind stones, climbing hills, going out to get water with elder sister and at end of day waiting for her mother & herd of pashmina goats to comeback home and feed them with nutritions. Her day ends with sleeping on leap of her mother finally.
