360 Potential Degrees
I came to the conclusion, when thinking about postcards, that they true use was to represent the current state of mind of the sender. With this I decided to deviate from the normal concept of a written postcard and replacing it with vizual symbolisms of that moment. Therefore, I created a digital collage that included three different elements:
1- A self-portrait to represent my tranquility of mind.
2- Pink flowers that are found in my mothers garden, to symbolize my distance from home.
3- The silhouette of trees found in Bournemouth, as a statement of my current location
