Inspired in the character of La Muerte /Catrina from the animated film The Book of Life.
Outfit, Hat and Wig were custom made completely for this Cosplay using materials such as foam, Tafetta fabric and acrylic paint to recreate this character. The design on the dress's fabric was hand painted and more than 450 flowers were made for this costume.
250 - 300 hours of work on this costume.

Cosplay Costume created for the Montreal ComicCon 2015. This costume is based on the character La Muerte from the 2014 animated film The Book of Life. The entire costume was made by me.
The pattern of the dress was custom made with hand painted details. There are more than 450 handmade taffeta and organza flowers around the dress and the hat. Hat and dress have electric candles that light up. Make up was made by me and it took around 3 hours to finish. There is a about 300 hours total of work on this costume. It was a full time creating that took a month to finish.
