SOUPER MEALS ON WHEELS
Souper Meals on Wheels (SMW) is a mobile soup kitchen by day and a fully-fledged pizza food truck by night, operating with the slogan Driving hunger away, one mile at a time! It was created with the aim of building a new Food Aid model that is sustainable and tackles the issue of food waste while reaching out to those in need.
SMW is a project by FoodBlessed, a proud premier community-based, volunteer-driven nonprofit organisation in Lebanon (and the Middle East) that tackles food poverty and hunger in Lebanon while addressing and spreading awareness on food waste.
A Crowdfunding Campaign for Souper Meals On Wheels was launched on the 16th of November on Generosity.com! The campaign hopes to raise enough funds to get this loaded-with-love food truck on the road by Christmas 2015. Help us spread the LOVE by providing food to those in need across Lebanon, all year round and not just around the holidays!
