Synchronistic Numbers are numbers that repeat themselves, for example the time 11:11. It is believed in Numerology that regular occurances of Synchronistic Numbers in a person's daily life is a spiritual message to the viewer. Seeing repeating 1's is a sign that the viewer should step back and look at the bigger image, perhaps analysing where changes could be made in their routine.
My project tries to engage the audience with constant repetition of the number 1 in various obscure and chaotic patterns in a compact folded format. It is only when the audience unfold the paper that they get to see this 'bigger image' quite literally, which helps to explain the concept further. My colours are chosen based on what I thought were very bold and almost 'manic' colours, but ones that worked together throughout the project, whereas the typeface is large, informative and legible.
