Travis K. Mendoza: Creative
Award winning Photojournalist,Travis K. Mendoza grew up in Albuquerque, N.M., and is a 2005 graduate of Albuquerque High School. He is currently pursuing a degree in Fine Arts, and Photojournalism.
Following his graduation from high school, Travis enlisted in the Navy as a mass communications specialist. His career in the Navy has afforded him the opportunity to travel around the world photographing his favorite subject -- people.
With more than 2,000 photos published worldwide, Travis's work has appeared in such prestigious outlets as LIFE Magazine, USA Today, and the Los Angeles Times. He has been recognized as one of the Navy's most influential photojournalists and was the 2010 winner of best in show for the San Diego shoot-off.
Currently, Travis lives in San Diego california where he is pursuing his Masters Degree in Photojournalism. When Travis is not out pursuing the moment, he is spending time with his beautiful wife, Maria.
Maria, an aspiring Architect, is one of the most influencial people in travis' life. Her creativity, and drive inspires him to pursue his dreams more and more everyday.
