Сatalog of great artists.
This book is dedicated to the great masters of architecture, sculpture, painting and applied art. It's a catalog consisted of 85 mini booklets, and each one of them contains a few words about the biography of one artist and examples of his work.
This book was created as a souvenir edition and a gift for St. Petersburg Academy of Art and Industry. The building of the academy, erected by it's first director, M.E. Messmacher was decorated with names of 85 great masters, some still famous and some unfortunately forgotten. After a long study, was collected enough information to make a book where all of the artists were presented.

The scheme shows the order in which names of the artists are arranged on the academy walls. Each name on the building corresponds to the number on the back of the booklet.
