A new design for the classic book The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. The idea is to make the reader more aware and feel sympathy, both for Gregor Samsa and his family members in the strange situation that occurs in the beginning of the book when Gregor turns in to a vermin. It is both hard for Gregor being in the new body of his but also for the family members who relied on Gregors income from his work, something that he can help them out with now that hes turned in to this vermin.

This is shown by having all the quotes from Gregor turned in ninety degrees from the story line and separate him a bit from the story. Which gives the reader an irritating moment when she/he is reading what Gregor are saying. 

The grid of the book is based one the rectangle which can bee seen upon as the apartment where the whole story takes place.
