The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia in partnership with The Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery hosted and traveling exhibition called "Let Your Motto Be Resistance." I was commission to design all marketing materials for this historical exhibition. I was honored to work with representatives from The National Portrait Gallery in receiving digital archival photography from some of the most influential African-Americans over the last century. The design was a usage of black and whites, hued and muted colorized images placing them in a grid that would show contrast in personification. As well as aid in telling their stories of truimph, courage and the willingness to stand for justice and equality.
