Lost Vanguard Found: A Synthesis of Architecture and Art in Russia (1915-1935)
Art direction and design for a bilingual catalogue that accompanied the exhibition “Lost Vanguard Found: A Synthesis of Architecture and Art in Russia (1915-1935), an exhibition that featured projects that had seldom been published and remain largely unknown.
The catalogue, as expected, is dominated by photography and paintings, hence, we made use of mild typography in order not to weaken the catalogue’s objective. Its three parts are introduced with distinct black and white patterns and its cover depicts a design created based on the Russian avant-garde.
