120HOURS 2015 competition placed the project in the really North of Europe. Svalbard is the last solid point before the North Pole, there we can still find the deserted Russian coal-minig settlement of Pyramiden.
The aim of the competition was to experiment with new concepts and programs for the preservation of Pyramiden.
Then having as reference the Russian Constructivism, we reconstruct a new Pyramiden. Radical places as this one needs radical proposals, here we decided to elevate the city in a huge platform and start to build a new city. This intervention and the Climate Change will give Pyramiden a second opportunity.
