I was given this photo by my teacher. Our instructions were to edit the picture to look as if we used an Instagram filter. These are my steps: Opened in CameraRaw, Changed exposure, contrast, and highlights, opened in photoshop, Adjusted color balance (decreased blue and cyan), duplicated layer, adjusted levels using Ctrl + L (red, midtone input: 1.46, shadows: 13), changed the brightness/contrast (brightness: 26, contrast: 93), New fill layer> solid color (f1e499, blending mode: multiply), adjusted curves (output: 44), ctrl + L (shadows input: 15), created an iris blur (15 px blur) for the head, dropped a new pin for the tail, and a third pin for the rock the squirrel is sitting on, merged down, cropped into a square, added a black border, saved as jpeg.
